CompuGoddess began teaching in 1977, and continues to share her enthusiasms with those who are interested.

I started giving classical guitar lessons to the neighbor kids in 1977, and have been teaching in one way or another ever since. I even taught when I was working for the Postal Service: I became an On-the-Job Instructor (OJI) while a mail carrier; and later was a Certified Field Trainer (CFT) for a type of barcode sorter called the CSBCS.

Teaching became quite official in 2000, when I became an instructor at the Continuing Education division of the University of New Mexico (UNM) -- and I have continued to teach web design, digital photography, and image-editing classes there ever since.

I've been designing websites since 1998 (you can see a selection of my work here) and in 2002, I began developing my digital photography skills in earnest. I'm fortunate to have been honored with a number of awards for my photography; the most recent was a first place finish in New Mexico Magazine's 6th Annual Photography Contest. You can see many of my photographs on another of my websites, NewMexicoPhotos.com.
