Some of the More Recent Ones

Two century plants (agaves) bloom in a motel parking lot along old US Route 66 in Albuquerque. They're popularly called "century plants" because it takes them so long to bloom that it seems like it takes a century (I believe these were about 25 years old). They bloom only once and then die.
