Add Links to Another Page in Your Website

Use text to link to another web page in your website.
insert new link iconHighlight the portion of the text you want visitors to click on (for instance, "click here"). Then click the INSERT NEW LINK icon and a dialog box like the one below will come up.

link properties dialog window

Click on the CHOOSE FILE button and navigate to the page you want to link to. Then click OK. Be aware that you won't be able to actually test whether the link works until you save the page and click the BROWSE icon to preview it.

Use a picture or graphic to link to another web page in your website.
Click on the picture so that it's highlighted. From the FORMAT menu, choose IMAGE PROPERTIES. This time, click on the fourth tab, the one that says LINK, as in the screenshot below.

image properties window: link

Click on the CHOOSE FILE button and navigate to the page you want to link to (again, remember that it's best to keep all the pages and pictures for the same website in a single, special website folder). After you've done that, you'll notice that there's now a check mark in front of Show border around linked image; take that check mark off if you don't want a border. Then click OK. Be aware that you won't be able to actually test whether the link works until you save the page and click the BROWSE icon to preview it.
