Now take a look at the two boxes of color represented by Fig. 4. The (black, by default) allows you to change the in your page. Highlight what you've already typed and click on the top left box; choose one of the colors in the table for your highlighted text.
The in Fig. 4 (white, by default) allows you to change the , simply by clicking on it and choosing another color, just as you did for the heading. It's a good idea to choose strongly contrasting colors for the text and background of your page -- otherwise it'll be hard to read.
The three icons circled in Fig. 5 allow you to make text bold, italic, and/or underlined. However, keep in mind that it's a good idea not to underline anything that isn't a link to another page (links get underlined automatically). And remember, by choosing (Fig. 3), the text will automatically be bold -- that's just how web page headings work.
You can change the size of the text by clicking the icon (to make it smaller) or by clicking the icon (to make it larger), as in Fig. 6.
You can change the fonts in your web page, too, by highlighting the text and selecting , and choosing one of the listed options. There are only a few options because web pages can only show fonts that are installed on the viewer's computer. And since there are only a handful of fonts that are installed on most computers, those few are the only options given to you.
Now press to make a new line and type a few sentences below your heading to make a paragraph. Make sure that the (Fig. 3) box now says . It's OK to make the paragraph a different font and/or color too, and you probably will want to use left alignment for it. (Click the icon if necessary.)
Save your page again by clicking the icon or by going to .
Now preview the page in Netscape by clicking on the icon. shows you how your page will really look in the Netscape browser.

Remember to close the window after you preview your web page; you can only make changes to the page in the window, not in the browser window.
And from now on, make sure you save your page and click on to preview it frequently. If you forget to save before you click , Composer will prompt you to save the document; that's because it must be saved before the changes take effect.
