Highlight the portion of the text you want visitors to click on (for instance, "click here"). Then click the icon and the dialog box above will come up.
Now, leaving your Netscape Composer file open, open your browser and go to the web page you want to link to. Once you get there, highlight its entire address in the (or , in Netscape) and copy it ( in Windows; on a Mac). Next, close the browser window to return to the Netscape Composer window, and paste the address (in Windows; on a Mac) into the line right below the button. Click . Be aware that you won't be able to actually test whether the link works until you save the page and click the icon to preview it.
Click on the picture so that there is a frame around it. Then click the icon and the LINK PROPERTIES dialog box will come up.

When you turn a picture into a link, Composer will automatically put a border around the picture. You may like this effect, or you may not. If you don't like it, and want to get rid of the border, go to FORMAT - IMAGE PROPERTIES and, where it says , make the number . Click .
